Westlock Community Health Services (CHS)

"The staff at Westlock Community Health Services deserve a huge thank you!! In my rough & tumble life, I have needed everything from flu shot to emergency surgery... So I feel more than qualified to give an honest opinion about the wonderful folks taking care of people at the Westlock Hospital! Right from the lady who called ahead to arrange my surgery date, to the nurse helping us out the door, and everyone in between, initial nurse, ECG gal, OR nurses, & Students, and Doctors, one to go to sleep, and an Orthopedic to do my surgery...and anyone I may have missed...they were all just awesome! Friendly faces at 06:00 in the morning! Everyone was so personable, rare in my other medical adventures. Everything going on was explained to me, introductions made, permission asked if students could be in the OR (of course!)! After waking, the great care continued!! The Surgeon himself came into talk to me after the operation to let me know what he found, how he fixed it, what to do at home, did I have any questions... I'm sorry but I can't even remember all the interactions... If I forgot anyone, I'm sorry... Trust me, everyone involved made a great healthcare team!! I will sum it up that the Westlock Community Health staff are friendly professionals! Any anxiety about having surgery on my broken bone was alieved, and I knew I was in good hands!! I thank each & everyone of you for taking such good care of me, while helping my busted self get well once more! I wish all of you an extra Merry Christmas & an Awesome New Year!!! -RJ "
